entailing the collection, processingand the implementation of
statistical and research findings in order to improve clinical
servicesand the patient overall outcome. Evidence-Based Practice
integrates the available evidenceaccording to scientific research
with the best practice evidence available. The employment ofEBP in
an organization is therefore essential for the organization to be
able to provide the bestquality and the most economical health care
possible. Implementation of EBP by managementmust be a strategic
process if the process is to yield the desired outcome. The
