Magic Opening Ghosts

This very simple science activity is a fun take on a magic opening flowers investigation. It’s also part of my Halloween paper science experiment pack containing 5 easy paper based activities for Halloween.

The idea is to fold the ghosts up and watch as they open in the water. This happens because paper is made of lots of fibres which absorb the water making the paper expand slightly and the ghost shape open up!
