human intelligence and cognitive processes tocomputer systems and
makes it possible for machines to have learning, reasoning and
selfcorrection capabilities. Thus, the usage of AI can be
programmed to suit a particular task andgo beyond the weak AI forms
that we are familiar with, such as Siri. There have been
variousmeasures established for AI usage in nursing informatics to
help save patients lives and healthcosts. Nursing informatics (NI)
speciality uses nursing expertise with different
informationmanagement and analytical sciences to improve nursing
services. A combination of AI and NIwill make it possible for
nurses to identify patterns in data, better manage patients and
theirmedical cases, analyze and interpret medical data more
accurately and faster (Bernstam, 2010).Thus, the project proposal
aims to ensure that there is a standardized program to implement
AIand NI in medical systems.A considerable percentage of clinical
decisions are based on the health practitionersjudgements (Saba et
al., 2012). These decisions are about the mode of treatment, the
