ceramic educator, sculptor, and artist. Beck was born in a rural
areawithin southeastern Ohio. In his childhood, Beck lived between
a wooden Hocking Hills and asmall town in Ohio. The environment
where Beck lived enabled him to have muchunderstanding of the
interpretation of the landscape. He studied ceramics and sculpture
inAthens, particularly in Ohio University. After Beck attained a
Bachelors degree of Fine Arts inCeramics, he obtained a Post
Baccalaureate Fellowship in an institution in Illinois known
asIllinois State University. He went to Philadelphia in 2006, where
he attended Tyler School of Artand later proceeded to Temple
