from the earlier papers obesity is a major challenge in the society
today.This issue on obesity has remained a big challenge especially
to African American women. Thishas even persisted despite numerous
prevention mediations that have been initiated. It isobserved that
unhealthy population may result to unhealthy economy since
productivity levels godown when people take sick leaves to attend
into medical attention on something that wouldotherwise have been
controlled (Nguyen & El-Serag, 2010). Some people may ignore it
yet itmay lead into serious health issues.This paper describes the
intervention programs and also the action plan for implementingthe
intervention programs. Obesity is one of those public health
problems in which the mainchallenge is integration in that there
are certain gaps in research and available knowledge,proving
improvement opportunities and research. Lastly, it evaluates the
intervention programsand policies to determine if viable results
are being achieved .Designing and developing intervention
